1. Applicants are required to be interviewed (if demanded), and will be notified by the department; the interview date will be held around every April/May (for Fall Semester application). 2. Applicants should have Chinese skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing and are required to provide a Chinese proficiency certificate (intermediate level or above of TOCFL or New HSK). 3. Applicants from non-English speaking countries are required to provide an English proficiency certificate (such as TOFEL 72-73, TOEIC 750, or IELTS 6.0 showing test score equated with passing GEPT high-intermediate or above). 4. Applicants are also required to provide a self-hand-written autobiography in Chinese. 5. Applicants are required to provide certificates of high school grades and academic performances within recent three years.
