1. Applicants should have sufficient listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability in Chinese. They are required to provide Chinese self-hand-written autobiographies, Chinese proficiency certificates (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) certification with a minimum level 3, or relevant Chinese language certificates), and certificates of Chinese language classes for at least a year. 2. Applicants from non-native Chinese or non-native English speaking countries are suggested to provide English proficiency certificates, such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, or BULATS. Applicants from English-speaking countries, such as Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, or the United States of America, or those who had studied and obtained previous degrees in these countries can provide certified documents or diplomas instead of the English proficiency certificates.
