1. Master's Program: Every applicant must have earned a first law degree. Doctoral Program: Every applicant must have earned a LL.M. degree. 2. Admitted applicants may choose one of the three Programs to enroll, the Public Law Program, the Civil and Business Law Program(including Financial and Economic Law), and the Criminal Law Program. Applicants must specify which Program they apply for on their "Study and Research Proposal". 3. Each applicant is required to provide a Chinese proficiency certificate and shall have basic Chinese skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Chinese ability test (TOCFL) should be A2 or above. 4. Each applicant is also required to provide an autobiography in Chinese. 5. Each applicant from a non-English speaking country is required to provide an English proficiency certificate (such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS or GEPT). 6. The English proficiency certificate is not required for applicants whose previous degree is from an English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa or the United States of America), but the applicants have to provide their diplomas as proof. 7.For master program applicants, online interviews will be arranged if needed. For Ph.D. program applicants, online interviews are required to be admitted. The online interview details will be notified by the department
