1. The applicant is required to have a basic ability in programming, such as Python, C/C++/C#, Java, R or Matlab, etc., at least one of the abilities. 2. A degree in a relevant discipline in electrical engineering, computer science, science, engineering, mathematics, and statistics, or have cross-disciplinary research expertise. 3. Applicants required to have Chinese proficiency: (1) Applicants whose country’s official language is Chinese: exempt from submission. (2) Applicants whose mother tongue is Chinese, or who have previously obtained a degree in a Chinese-taught program or majored in Chinese: may provide relevant proof of Chinese proficiency. (3) Applicants not covered by the above circumstances: must provide a Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) certificate at level A2 (inclusive) or above, or an equivalent internationally recognized Chinese proficiency certificate. 4. Applicants required to have English proficiency: (1) Applicants whose country’s official language is English: exempt from submission. (2) Applicants whose mother tongue is English, or who have previously obtained a degree in an English-speaking country, or completed a degree program fully taught in English: may provide relevant proof of English proficiency. (3)Applicants from non-English speaking countries are required to provide English proficiency certificate, such as TOEFL iBT, TOEIC, GEPT or IELTS etc. that CEFR is equivalent to B2 or above: A. TOEFL iBT: 72 or above. B. TOEIC: 785 or above. C. GEPT: High-Intermediate Level or above. D. IELTS: 5.5 or above. E. CEFR: B2 or above. 5. Online interviews will be arranged if needed.
