Welcome to the NCKU Spring Semester 2026 Online Application System for International Degree Students.
Before you begin your application, please make sure to read the following important notes:
1️⃣ Please confirm the application requirements of your intended departments/programs: Admission Prospectus for International Students 2026 Fall/ 2027 Spring
2️⃣ Application period: July 1, 2026 – September 15, 2026 (Taiwan Time, GMT+8).
3️⃣ Applicants may register one account only (your email address will be your username). *Applicants for dual degree programs should indicate home institution.*
4️⃣ Fill in all required fields in the application form to obtain your application number. Upload all required documents in PDF format.
5️⃣ Application fee: NT$2,000 per applicant. Each applicant may apply to up to three departments/programs.

⛔Important Notice:NCKU does not offer transfer admission for international students.

Applicants who are currently enrolled in, or have previously attended an undergraduate program in Taiwan should note that reapplying to our university is not considered a transfer.
If you have previously/ currently studied for a bachelor’s degree (including the entire 1+4 International Foundation Program) in Taiwan, and wish to apply for our undergraduate programs, please make sure you meet *ALL* the following requirements:
1️⃣You have officially withdrawn from your previous university before submitting your application and no longer hold student status at any university in Taiwan. Your withdrawal or loss of student status must not be resulted from unsatisfactory conduct or academic performance, or serious violations of laws or university regulations.
2️⃣You *reside outside of Taiwan* at the time of application. Reapplying for study in Taiwan after withdrawal is permitted once only, and you *have not used this single opportunity* prior to applying to our university.
3️⃣During your previous study in Taiwan, your active student status lasted for *less than one year (2 semesters)* prior to withdrawal or loss of student status.
⛔If you are still enrolled at another university in Taiwan, have studied in Taiwan for one academic year or longer, or are unsure whether you meet the eligibility requirements, please confirm with us and your current/former university before submitting your application.⛔
⚠️Applicants who have previously studied or are currently studying in Taiwan must accurately submit proof of their studies.
⭐⭐⭐Those who do not meet the eligibility requirements or conceal their enrollment information at another university in Taiwan may have their admission revoked, even after admission has been granted. ⭐⭐⭐

Basic Language Proficiency Requirements:
◾ For programs taught in English (marked with RED or GREEN dots): English proficiency certificate at CEFR B1 level or above.
◾ For programs taught in both Chinese and English (marked with BLUE dots): Chinese proficiency certificate at TOCFL A2 level or above + English proficiency certificates at CEFR B1 level or above.
◾ For programs taught in Chinese (marked with BLACK dots): Chinese proficiency certificate at TOCFL A2 level or above.
The above are general requirements. Please refer to the admission prospectus for the specific language proficiency required by respective departments/programs.
Reminder
◾You must complete the online application before the deadline, including the application form, document upload, and recommendation letter submission. Late submissions will be considered incomplete.
◾If the financial statement is not under the applicant’s name, a Financial Sponsorship Form must be provided, stating the relationship between the sponsor and the applicant and confirming financial responsibility for all expenses in Taiwan.
Additional Notes
◾In accordance with Article 7 of the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan, NCKU may request applicants to provide authenticated documents verified by an ROC overseas mission, or by an institution designated or commissioned by the Executive Yuan.
◾NCKU does not authorize any external agencies to conduct admission services. Except for general promotion and required procedures for studying in Taiwan, all applications must be submitted directly through NCKU’s official application system.
